Statements on Tree Planting Day

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Tree Planting Day, which has become customary in the country, is one of the blessed days in the Islamic Republic; because trees and plants are essential for the country, for life, for the people, and for breathing. Unfortunately, over the years, there has been negligence regarding trees. However, fortunately now, both the people and officials are paying attention to trees and the environment, but it seems that more work needs to be done in this area. In my opinion, the people themselves have the most effective and important role in this work: preserving forests, preserving pastures, preserving fertile lands, and preserving orchards.

Well, now we plant one or two trees, and people across the city and the country plant many trees; however, we must be careful to preserve the existing trees; this is one of the important tasks. Unfortunately, one sometimes sees that there is negligence towards what we have; trees are cut down, orchards are destroyed. God willing, these issues should be given attention. We hope that greenery, plants, vitality, and growth in our country and among our people will increase day by day.
