In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

God willing, may He elevate the ranks of Mr. Naaseri. God willing, may He grant him His special grace — for surely he is among those who receive divine mercy — and may He not allow his place to remain vacant. The existence of individuals like him is truly precious. We are in great need of what individuals like Mr. Naaseri can provide for society: ethics, spirituality, and attention. God willing, may God preserve you and the rest of the gentlemen.

The program that has been outlined for the memorial of the late Mr. Naaseri (may God be pleased with him) is a good program; that is, the aspects of the subject have been considered. However, the important thing is that you can convey these titles to the minds of the audience through scientific and precise elucidation; we need these today. When someone like Mr. Naaseri faces the people, the task is easy; because the words that come from a person like Mr. Naaseri are heartfelt and spiritual, stemming from sincerity and attention; there is neither complexity in it, nor specific terminology, nor a particular scientific framework given to it; it flows like running water from the heart. Those who are listening are as if they are sitting by a spring and drinking the water; there is no problem. What has solved the issue? It is that same sincerity, that warm breath, and the spirit connected to divine graces and attentions; this resolves the problem. When he — or individuals like him — is alive and speaking, it is like this; but when we want to convey these concepts, we become intermediaries, and this intermediary creates a veil. There is no alternative; that is, if we ultimately want to convey these words, such tasks are necessary; writing, transcribing, organizing, categorizing, and similar tasks are essential; there is no way around it; however, the purity and spirituality and the vibrancy and manifestation that existed during his lifetime will no longer be there. We must find a way to compensate for this; how do we compensate? By being able to make the content precise, mature, and selecting elegant expressions and literature for the discourse — these are important — and preparing them in accordance with the thoughts and minds of the audience. After all, a student differs from a non-academic individual, from a seminarian, from someone of older age; each has their own temperament and acceptance; these must be taken into account. In my opinion, if you want this memorial to be realized according to what you intend and your goal, these aspects must be observed.

The late Mr. Naaseri was among the remnants of the past; that is, he was a sample of those whose names we have heard. One would benefit from his gatherings; sitting with him provided spiritual enjoyment. Even the ordinary words spoken were like this; it was not that, for example, one would assume it to be a formal academic discussion; no, even the ordinary words spoken would be beneficial. We had the opportunity to be in his presence a few times. He had also benefited from the late Mr. Asyid Jamal. I do not exactly recall if he said that his father was among the companions of Mr. Asyid Jamal or if he himself directly benefited from him. The late Mr. Asyid Jamal passed away in 1936, and the late Mr. Naaseri was born in 1930; that is, he was twenty-six years old when he passed away; therefore, he could have experienced him. He narrated an incident from the late Asyid Jamal for us, which I heard from him two or three times; the last time, I was hospitalized, and he came to visit me; I asked him to tell us that incident again, and he elaborated on it again. In any case, he was a precious figure; truly, Mr. Naaseri was a blessing, especially for the people of Isfahan who would sit at his pulpit and listen directly to him.

We hope, God willing, that individuals like him will be nurtured, grow, and become beneficial for the people. Certainly, the times are not devoid of outstanding individuals; we must seek them out and benefit from them. God willing, may He elevate their ranks, may He preserve you all, keep you, and may this memorial also be beneficial, God willing. May you be successful and supported. God willing, may He protect you.
