Today, dear youth, you officially entered the great and proud family of the Islamic Republic Army of Iran. Welcome! For you, today, which is the day of receiving the insignia of striving in the way of God, is a blessed and unforgettable day. The will of man determines his path, and the firm will ensures the continuous and uninterrupted pursuit of this path, and it is this same determination and firm will that leads him to his goals and ideals.

It is evident that none of us considers the job we have chosen as our ultimate goal; rather, it is a means that can lead us to that great goal, which is to become a complete human being; to be a beloved and desired human being according to the Shari'ah; a person who, from the opportunity of being in this material world and benefiting from powers, resources, and talents, can achieve that ideal flight of humanity and reach that point which is the aspiration of great individuals, righteous men, and the chosen servants of God. What is important is that we have chosen the right path. I assure you, dear youth and my beloved children, that you have chosen the right path. The Islamic Republic Army of Iran is that point which can lead a determined and resolute individual to that heavenly flight and that sacred ascension. This ascension is not only through martyrdom. Many living individuals hold the rank of martyrs. The Islamic Republic Army of Iran and the armed forces in the sacred system of the Islamic Republic are the vanguards of a movement that the Islamic community is eagerly awaiting today, and the path for progress is open. What is important is that you always maintain this determination and will, which your youthful energy supports, and the favorable environment of the Islamic Republic provides a suitable foundation for. Study well; learn well; apply well, and when needed, shine brightly. It is hoped that the Almighty God grants you all the success to shine in your duty.
